Meet Dr. Kalika

Boris Kalika, DMD

Dr. Boris Kalika received his DMD degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He subsequently completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is dually Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Kalika  is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is also an active member of the Atlantic-Cape May County Dental Society, where he served as both vice president and president. Dr. Kalika  is on staff at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City and Pomona, New Jersey. He has also held past academic appointments at Thomas Jefferson University and Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where he trained oral and maxilofacial surgery residents as well as dental students. Dr. Kalika  is certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Dr. Kalika practices a broad scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery including wisdom tooth removal, surgical placement of dental implants and associated bone and soft tissue grafting, oral pathology, oro-facial infections, facial trauma, corrective and reconstructive jaw surgery as well as office based anesthesia including intravenous sedation.

Dr. Kalika lives locally with his wife and his two children.
